The boring but important bit
Privacy.
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can tell us to do about it. Short version: we sell pizza, not data.

Who we are
Behemoth Pizza Co. is a delivery-only Roman pizza business operating in London. We are the data controller for the information described here. Questions, requests or complaints: hello@behemoth.pizza.
What we collect
Cookies, and how we ask
The first time you arrive, a banner asks whether we may use analytics cookies. Nothing analytical is loaded until you press Accept. Reject is the same single click as Accept, and if you reject we don't ask again for six months. There is no "carry on browsing to agree" — silence is not consent here.
To change your mind at any point, use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing was, and when you withdraw we clear the analytics cookies we can reach.
We store your choice itself in your browser's local storage under behemoth.consent.v1. That one
is strictly necessary — it's the only way to remember not to pester you — so it doesn't require consent. We
also use local storage to remember what's in your order basket. Neither is sent to us or to anyone else.
If you accept analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site — which pages get read, where people
click, and where they get stuck. Clarity records anonymised session replays and sets cookies on your device
(including _clck and _clsk). It collects things like pages visited, clicks and
scrolling, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use it to
fix confusing pages, not to identify you.
Clarity is provided by Microsoft, who process this data on our behalf and retain it for a limited period. Their handling is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
The site is hosted by Netlify, who process standard server logs (including IP addresses) to serve pages and keep the site secure. That happens whatever you choose about cookies — it is how the page reaches you at all.
When you enquire about an order
The enquiry forms on our Offices and Crew pages do not send anything to a server of ours. They open your own email app with the details filled in — nothing is submitted until you press send. The email then arrives with us and we use it solely to quote for and fulfil your order: your name, contact details, delivery address, date, headcount and any dietary requirements you tell us.
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our business and tax record-keeping obligations, then delete it.
What we don't do
- We don't take payments on this website, and we don't store card details.
- We don't sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.
- We don't email you marketing unless you've asked us to.
- We don't ask you to create an account.
Ordering through other companies
When you place an actual order, it may go through a third party — our ordering and delivery partners, or a marketplace such as Deliveroo, Uber Eats or Just Eat. Those companies collect and handle your data under their own privacy policies, which apply alongside this one. We only receive what we need to make and deliver your food.
Why we're allowed to do this
For analytics cookies and session recording we rely on your consent, given through the banner and withdrawable at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. For responding to enquiries you send us, and for keeping the site running and secure, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating a small food business.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete it, or restrict what we do with it
- stop processing it where we're relying on legitimate interests
- send it to you or someone else in a portable format
Email hello@behemoth.pizza and we'll sort it. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how we handle data — particularly when online ordering goes live — we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
